Original Game

Yes, there was a budget game called 'Chiller' released by Mastertronic back in 1984 and, yes, it was a riff on the Michael Jackson album 'Thriller'.

I would imagine that anybody who is serious about Commodore64 gaming would have played this game at some point, or at the very least, seen or heard about it.  It is one of my favourite budget games from way-back-when!

Although published by Mastertronic, Chiller was written by two brothers called David and Richard Darling.  If those names sound familiar, they should be!  The brothers were responsible for a starting a little games company called 'Codemasters' and if you've never heard of that company, do you know anything about video games?!?!

However, if you are one of the (very, very) few who are blissfully unaware of this 'masterpiece' of budget gaming, allow me to provide you with a few links to websites and pages that can probably do a much better job of explaining the game than I...
